The JBE Triple A SummitFest is proud to welcome singer, songwriter, producer, author, actor, activist, and Sirius XM host Steve Earle to open the festivities as the subject of The Keynote Interview with KBCO's Bret Saunders at 3 p.m. MDT on Wednesday, August 3. Drawing on the experiences of a career that started with the release of 1986’s Guitar Town and has continued uninterrupted through his forthcoming New West release, Earle will talk about his influences – including mentors Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark and more – as well as his experiences in the studio, on-stage, on the sound stage, and as an activist for social change in an event slated to start at 3 p.m. MDT. You can read more about Steve Earle here. Look for Fox and Hill Stage performers to be announced in March.
WRLT/Lightning OM Gary Kraen and WAPS/Akron PD Brad Savage, leading conversations touching on the common experiences all Triple A programmers face. Kraen will host Change In A Changing World on the morning of August 4, with the afternoon giving way to Savage’s Creating New Traditions. You can see panel descriptions here.
